Contact our Group Leader by phone or email, or submit the enquiry form above. She'll arrange for your child to attend by issuing an invite via the Scouts Victoria registration portal. If you'd like to proceed, payment will be required to be paid online — this can be done at any time during your 3 week trial.

Children can join Joey Scouts from age 5, or when they have commenced primary school. The full programme runs through to age 26 across five sections: Joey Scouts (5–8), Cub Scouts (8–11), Scouts (11–15), Venturers (15–18), and Rovers (18–25).

Waiting lists can apply, particularly for younger sections. Contact us to check current availability. We recommend enquiring early — Brighton is a popular group.

Scouts membership is approximately $555 per year (plus a once-off joining fee of $60), fees are paid annually in February to cover the Scout year March to April, and are pro-rated by quarter depending on when you join. Camps and major activities have additional costs. Financial assistance is available — please speak with our Group Leader.

We always welcome enthusiastic adults who want to make a difference. No prior Scouting experience is needed. Contact Janet and she'll walk you through our straightforward onboarding process, which includes a Working with Children Check and a Scouts Victoria induction.

We're at 34 Wilson Street, Brighton VIC 3186. The hall is a short walk from Middle Brighton station (Sandringham line) and Bay Street. There is off-street parking on Wilson Street and surrounding streets.
