Hall Hire
Our hall at 34 Wilson Street, Brighton is available for hire by community groups, schools, and private events when not in use by the Scout Group. It's a spacious, well-maintained facility with a large main hall, kitchen, and toilet facilities.

FAQ
Contact our Group Leader Janet Cardell by phone or email, or submit the enquiry form above. She'll arrange for your child to attend three free trial nights. If you'd like to proceed after the trial, enrolment is done online through Scouts Victoria's MyScout portal.
Children can join Joey Scouts from age 5. The full programme runs through to age 26 across five sections: Joeys (5–7), Cubs (7–10), Scouts (10–14), Venturers (14–17), and Rovers (17–26).
Waiting lists can apply, particularly for younger sections. Contact us to check current availability. We recommend enquiring early — Brighton is a popular group.
Scouts Victoria membership is approximately $350–$450 per year (billed twice annually). This covers insurance, badges, programme materials, and most weekly meeting activities. Camps and major activities have additional costs. Financial assistance is available — please ask Janet.
We always welcome enthusiastic adults who want to make a difference. No prior Scouting experience is needed. Contact Janet and she'll walk you through our straightforward onboarding process, which includes a Working with Children Check and a Scouts Victoria induction.
We're at 34 Wilson Street, Brighton VIC 3186. The hall is a short walk from North Brighton station (Sandringham line) and Bay Street. There is off-street parking on Wilson Street and surrounding streets.
